CM Punk vs Godzilla

The rebrand is here! In the very first episode after we dropped wrestling from the title of our show, we....spend a good bit of the first portion of this episode talking about wrestling. Oof. Jayke was so excited about the return of CM Punk that it was impossible to not have a discussion about it. Anyways, the gang also covers Fortnite's new chapter, map, and game modes and how Peter Griffin's muscly avatar apparently destroyed JD. Will fills in the gang on Godzilla Minus One and why it's the best Godzilla movie. And to replace the old MVP's of the Week segment, Shane Daniels hits you with some life lessons. 

The Real Podcast Takes a Bow

The Real Podcast returns with a full cast as Tyler makes his return here as well! Spider-Man 2 is discussed again!! Not like we haven't covered it enough. Will has his obligatory mention of Robocop and something new is mentioned when Tyler's exemplary DDR skills are brought up. Shane is surprised, but this should honestly be the least surprising thing. As the podcast concludes, the guys talk about some old wrestling stories and share some laughs. 

The Price is Carpet: The Series Finale

Sometimes you sit down to record an episode and a funny thing happens: everything goes off the rails, the stars align, and the perfect episode is born. That's what happened here, ladies and gentleman. As we sat down to record our 149th episode and take a look at the state of the indies, we were rejoined by our long missing co-host, Tyler. He took the opportunity to announce a few Clash matches, but we were also interrupted by your favorite Smark: Richard Jenkins. And then a funny thing happened...we realized that we'd recorded the perfect episode to release as our 150th. This podcast is about to look a lot different, but this is a great celebration of where we've been and where we're headed. Thanks to everyone for sticking with us along the way. Here's to the future!

B-Sides and Rarities

In our latest episode, as the gang approaches their 150th episode next week, they thought they'd take a look back at their past. Specifically, the past that the audience hasn't gotten to hear. Sometimes things get cut from the episode: a conversation doesn't flow well, it didn't fit in the episode, it could've offended someone, or someone pressed record early. For whatever reason, not everything makes it to the final product. In this episode, the gang unleashes those clips to the world for the first time. Enjoy it in real time as we did as well. What happens when the podcast doesn't feature JD? IT GETS REAL! The Real Podcast is back with Will, Shane, and Jayke and they've got some conversation tee'd up that hasn't been touched on for 3 weeks straight: Marvel's Spider-Man 2! After retreading that ground, the guys shoot off into Robocop, retro games, and everything in between.

In our latest episode, the gang is ambushed by an unmasked Richard Jenkins, who actually has salient points to add to the episode this time. Who knew that was possible? The guys discuss that big NWA fumble and how NXT landed on the CW instead, the weekend's TWE show and Jaden Newman's return to the ring, and many things in between. Jayke and Will have a vendetta against cowboys and discuss it further here as well.

Blood Money

It's that time of year again. When JD rants about how much he hates the Saudi Arabia events while Blood Money...ooops, Crow Jewel, tries to prove that its more than a glorified house show. The gang talks the show and the continued disrespect of Rey Mysterio. Later, they get into a bit of a discussion about Spider-Man 2 for the PS5 and Will gives a review of his weekend of wrestling. The Harbinger of Old Age

JD makes his triumphant return to the podcast after discovering just how old he is at the When We Were Young Fest. Shane joins and the guys discuss the last week of wrestling. TNA is back, baby! And with Blood Money on the horizon, will WWE show Rey Rey the ultimate disrespect and have him drop the US Championship to YouTube douchebag Logan Paul? The guys dive into this and so much more before pivoting to talking about the festival and what stood out from Vegas during JD's visit.
